      The GW23A type double-column horizontal fracture semi-pantograph clamp type outdoor three-phase high voltage AC isolation switch (hereinafter referred to as the "GW23A type isolating switch") is used for switching of high-voltage lines without no load and for electrical isolation between the high-voltage electrical equipment, such as the high-voltage bus or circuit breaker to be overhauled, and the live high-voltage line in a power supply system operating with the rated frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz and the rated voltage of 72.5/126/145/170/252/363/420/550kV. Besides, it is also used to open or close any bus to transfer current, and to open or close charging current of voltage transformer, lightning arrester and so on within the specified range during switching operation without opening or closing current of any load when operation mode of the power grid system needs to be changed.
